Auction Dates
· The auction period opens online on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at NOON.
· The auction period closes online at 10 PM on September 10, 2007.
· In person bidding will be at Main Street Market on these dates. When bidding is occurring at Main Street Market, the on-line auction will be inactive. (See “How To Participate” below.)

Specific Items that Bidders Need to Know
· You are responsible for picking up your table at Main Street Market in
· If you are located outside of our area making it impractical for you to pick up your table, you are responsible for arranging shipping at your expense. (BREADA staff will be happy to provide you with a list of service providers.)
· If your table must be shipped, you will have the option of receiving both the table top and the base or just the table top. The two pieces must be separated for shipping and will arrive in 2 separate boxes. The base is included at no additional cost on the tables being auctioned. Should you choose to not receive it, there will not be a discount on the winning bid.
How to Participate
Online
· Bidding will begin on-line at noon on Wednesday, August 15, 2007.
· The on-line auction is hosted at Blacktie-Louisiana.com. If you bid from tabletopbr.org, you will be automatically transferred to the host site.
· Online bidding will break Saturdays in order to allow for bidding at Main Street Market. The online auction will be inactive from 5 AM until 5 PM each Saturday of the auction period.
· Weekend bidding will be in person at Main Street Market on Saturdays from 8 AM - 12 Noon.
· When bidding resumes, all bids received in person will have been loaded into the on-line system and the current high bid will be displayed.
· Online bidding will end at 10 PM on Monday, September 10, 2007.
In Person
· In person bidding will be held on these Saturdays at Main Street Market:
o August 18, 2007
o August 25, 2007
o September 1, 2007
o September 8, 2007
· Bidders will provide the same information as is collected on-line and must receive a Main Street Market “bidder ID” number prior to participating.
· Bidders will have the opportunity to give a “current bid” and a “maximum bid.”
· Bidders will also have the opportunity to exercise the “Buy-Me-Now” option.
Buy-Me-Now
· Persons wishing to simply buy their table without bidding, may do so by utilizing the "Buy-Me-Now" function on-line or by paying the "Buy-Me-Now" price in person on Saturdays.
· The "Buy-Me-Now" price for each table will be set at $2,500.
· If bidding reaches $2,000 at any time during the auction, the "Buy-Me-Now" option will be removed.
Winning Bids
· Winning Bidders will be contacted by phone on Tuesday, September 11, 2007.
· At this time, all bids and payments will be confirmed.
· All tables must be paid for by September 13, 2007.
· Any table not paid for by September 13, may be re-listed for auction at BREADA’s discretion.
· Payment can be made by check, money order or credit card - on-line or in person at the BREADA offices.
· Any table paid for but not picked up in the time allotted, may be re-listed for auction at BREADA’s discretion. It is incumbent upon the winning bidder to advise BREADA staff of any deviation regarding retrieval of your table.
